Compact F-35 Simulators Boost Training Capacity

▶ Source – Breaking Defense ▶ Lockheed Martin has unveiled a downsized F-35 simulator, the Modified Mission Rehearsal Trainer (MMRT), designed for secure facilities. Its reduced hardware footprint allows more simulators in confined spaces, enabling multi-aircraft training events, such as linking 12 units for collaborative exercises. Initially developed for the US Air Force, this development potentially supports the growing numbers of international F-35 users.
