Welcome to Simulation News, your source for curated and summarised news from the world of simulation. Founded in 2024, Simulation News is dedicated to providing busy readers with quick and comprehensive access to the latest developments in simulation technology, research, and applications from across the globe.
Why?
Although technology can be like fashion with terminology coming and going, the fundamentals of simulation are progressing rapidly both in terms of the technology and the use cases it can support. The field of simulation is deep and wide and it is tough for practitioners, both decision makers and specialists, to keep track of developments and sift out what might be important to them and also discover unexpected parallel developments and innovation. Simulation News is dedicated to addressing this challenge through careful curation.
What do we mean by “Simulation”?
In the context of Simulation News, simulation refers to the ability to replicate real and imagined worlds for a variety of purposes, including training, education, research, engineering and entertainment. This broad field encompasses the technologies and methodologies required to model, run and analyse simulated worlds, and to create immersive experiences for humans and machines.
