AR First for Rotorcraft Training

⊲ Defence Industry Europe ⊳ Red 6 has linked its ATARS system with Boeing’s AH-64E Apache testbed, marking the first time an AR flight-training capability has been paired with a rotorcraft. By placing threat-focused scenarios into the pilot’s real view, the setup offers demanding training without the constraints of live activity. Red 6 sees the move as the start of wider work with the U.S. Army, while Boeing views AR as a way to prepare crews for increasingly complex missions and future CCA concepts.
