BAE Systems Powers New Italian Simulation

⊲ BAE Systems ⊳ BAE Systems OneArc has been awarded a five-year contract by the Italian Ministry of Defence to upgrade the Italian Army’s virtual training systems. Signed in December 2025, the deal replaces legacy VBS3-based platforms with VBS4, OneArc’s latest simulation software, and Mantle, a terrain generation platform. Through simulation networking this transition allows for more flexible exercises across different locations and new training workstations and advanced fires integration are also included. The contract secures long-term interoperability with NATO partners already using the same simulation technologies.
