Biometrics Meet Air Traffic Control
⊲ Halldale ⊳ The U.S. Air Force has awarded UFA a $1.8 million STTR Phase II contract to develop a mixed‑reality air traffic control training system that adapts in real time using biometric data. By monitoring stress and eye movement, the system can ease or intensify training depending on trainee needs. The goal is to lower attrition rates, speed up readiness, and help address the ongoing shortage of air traffic controllers in both military and civil aviation.
