Europe’s First XR-Based Bridge Trainer

⊲ Digital Ship ⊳ Greek oceangoing vessel operator Capital Group and Danish technology consultancy and service company FORCE Technology have unveiled what is thought to be Europe’s first XR Full Mission Bridge simulator at a maritime training facility in Chios Island, Greece, set to open in 2025. This simulator integrates advanced XR headsets, FURUNO navigation tech, and green-screen environments, together with eye tracking to deliver enhanced training.
