Exploring Ancient Civilisations in 3D
Cesium | Cesium Research’s UNICiv, an interface for exploring 3D models of ancient sites, has been accepted for presentation at the Eurographics Workshop on Graphics and Cultural Heritage 2024. Developed using Cesium for Unreal and 3D Tiles, UNICiv allows users to navigate historical structures across different eras, offering a unique educational tool for archaeology and urban planning. Featuring over 30 models from 8000 BCE to 1500 CE, the project aims to expand its model database and refine user experience, with future plans for open access and collaboration.
