Eyes Take Control in Virtual Worlds
⊲ Lancaster University ⊳ Researchers at the UK’s Lancaster University are working on a new way to control VR headsets using eye movements. Currently, using VR requires a lot of head and body movement, which can be uncomfortable and difficult for some people. The project, called EyeView360, aims to let users look around a virtual space just by moving their eyes, making it easier and more comfortable to use VR, especially for those with limited mobility. This innovative approach has received funding from the European Research Council.
