FAA Advances XR-Based Simulator Regulations
▶ Source – Halldale ▶ The FAA has chosen Vertex Solutions, Varjo, and Aechelon to explore XR training standards in aviation. Leveraging Vertex’s XR expertise, Varjo’s headsets, and Aechelon’s visual systems, the project will support FAA experiments on XR head-mounted display (HMD) specifications for pilots, including latency, resolution, and field of view. The outputs will help guide future simulator regulations.
