Frankfurt Welcomes 777-9 Simulator

⊲ Halldale ⊳ Lufthansa Aviation Training has taken delivery of the world’s first Boeing 777-9 full-flight simulator to reach an airline group. The device arrived at the Lufthansa Training Centre in Frankfurt, having been shipped from CAE’s manufacturing facility in Montréal. Assembly and installation are now under way, with the simulator expected to be ready for training by the end of May 2026 which more than a year ahead of the aircraft’s scheduled mid-2027 entry into service.
