Next-Gen 5th-Gen Simulator Unveiled

⊲ Airforce Technology ⊳ JFJ Aviation & Defence and Vrgineers are collaborating on an unrestricted fifth-generation fighter simulator that uses mixed reality technology to deliver training. The system combines Vrgineers’ XTAL CAVU and Somnium VR1 headsets enabling customised mission rehearsal and tactical preparation. The VR1 headset offers a QLED Mini-Led Fast LCD and provides a resolution of 2,880 x 2,880 per eye. JFJ will contribute operational expertise to ensure training realism. The project targets both military and civilian users and is expected to feature at defence exhibitions in Europe and the Middle East.
