Nvidia’s Local XR Simulation Streaming

⊲ Tom’s Guide ⊳ Nvidia is bringing its streaming tools CloudXR to Apple Vision Pro, letting users stream PC VR games from their own gaming rigs at up to 4K and 120fps. This technology differs from GeForce Now as it streams directly from users’ hardware, enhancing graphical performance through foveated rendering which optimises detail based on where the user is looking. Initially focusing on sim racing titles like iRacing and X-Plane 12, the cable-free setup could make the headset more appealing to sim racers and in time, broader simulation uses cases.
