
Razer’s Desktop Holographic AI Companion
⊲ Engadget ⊳ At CES 2026, Razer presented an update to Project Ava, moving its AI assistant from a screen-based tool into a physical desktop device featuring a holographic avatar. The cylindrical peripheral connects via USB-C and includes microphones, a speaker and a camera to enable interaction and environmental awareness. Razer also introduced multiple character personas and outlined plans for broader AI model support, custom avatars and future feature expansion, with reservations now open ahead of an expected 2026 release.
