Smart Glasses Fuel Eyewear Giant’s Growth

CNBC ⊳ EssilorLuxottica reported an 11.7% year-on-year revenue rise to €6.9 billion in Q3 2025, driven in part by strong demand for its Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. The wearable tech partnership with Meta added more than four percentage points to growth, prompting the company to fast-track production capacity expansion, originally planned by end-2026. North America led regional performance, while the group sees continued momentum in its luxury and smart eyewear categories.
