Testing Rare Automotive Scenarios Through Simulation

This model generates camera and LiDAR data, enabling engineers to test various driving conditions and times of day. While Waymo’s approach is innovative, it faces scrutiny from US authorities due to recent safety incidents involving its robotaxis. The company aims to expand its commercial services to 15 cities, including London and Tokyo.
