Vision Pro’s Promising Radiology Performance

A recent study by the University of California, San Diego, evaluated Apple Vision Pro’s effectiveness in radiology. Radiologists used the headset to review 100 CT scans for diverticulitis detection, comparing results with traditional desktop assessments. Although, the findings indicated no significant difference in diagnostic performance between the two methods, the study highlighted the headset’s potential for 3D visualization and improved ergonomics, suggesting promising applications in radiology.
