1,000 Human Digital Twins Created

MIT Technology ReviewStanford and Google DeepMind research has used AI to replicate human personalities through conversational interviews. Achieving 85% behavioural similarity, these “simulation agents” are intended for social science research but raise ethical concerns over misuse and consent. The researchers suggest interviews as a more efficient method than extensive data sets for creating digital twins, opening new paths for AI’s role in replicating human experiences, while cautioning about potential risks such as deepfakes and unauthorised representation. ▶ Image – ChatGPT
