Smart Glasses Hitting the Mainstream?

CNBC | Qualcomm, Samsung, and Google are reportedly collaborating to develop mixed-reality glasses, aimed at enhancing smartphone use with digital overlays in the real world. Unlike Apple’s larger headsets, these will resemble regular glasses, offering both convenience and a stylish appearance. Qualcomm’s CEO, Cristiano Amon, envisions these smart glasses as companion devices to smartphones, designed to scale across the market. With a Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chip and AI integration, the glasses could redefine everyday interactions, blending physical and digital experiences.
