Anduril & Meta Team Up for IVAS/SBMC

⊲ Anduril ⊳ Anduril and Meta are collaborating to develop XR technology for the American military. This partnership aims to rapidly field advanced soldier-borne XR systems and also strengthen Meta’s defence credentials. These systems will use Anduril’s Lattice, a decentralized mesh networking capability for military operations. Anduril and Meta have already jointly advanced a new white paper for the Soldier Borne Mission Comand (SBMC) (formerly known as Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS) Next), following the U.S. Army’s transfer of the IVAS programme from Microsoft to Anduril. Since the handover, Anduril claims it has shortened delivery timelines and integrated IVAS with its Lattice AI system.
