Video Becomes Lifelike 3D Holograms

⊲ Auganix ⊳ Looking Glass, a provider of holographic and light field display technology, has introduced its Hololuminescent Display (HLD), a novel holographic screen that allows standard video content to be transformed into 3D holograms without the need for XR headsets or complex development processes. Targeted at marketers and retailers, the HLD simplifies the deployment of immersive media using existing digital signage and content management systems. The display, which is less than an inch thick and supports 4K resolution, will be available in Q4 2025, starting at USD $2,000.
