Virtual Commissioning at Industrial Scale

⊲ Siemens ⊳ Siemens has unveiled Digital Twin Composer, a new software offering designed to help organisations build and operate industrial simulation environments. Launched at CES 2026, the tool allows teams to visualise, simulate and refine products, production lines and entire factories in a virtual setting before physical work begins. It unifies 2D and 3D digital twin data with live operational inputs, industrial AI and simulation, supported by NVIDIA Omniverse libraries. Early pilots, including work with PepsiCo, indicate improvements in throughput, capital efficiency and issue detection during facility design and planning.
