NASA Crew Completes Mars Simulation
NASA | NASA’s first CHAPEA (Crew Health and Performance Exploration Analog) crew has completed a year long Mars mission simulation, designed to replicate conditions on the Red Planet. The experiment aimed to study the physical and psychological effects of long-duration space travel, providing crucial data to support future Mars missions. The crew’s experience will inform strategies for sustaining human life on Mars.
