VR-Based Tests for Elderly Drivers

The VR system, piloted this year, will simulate real-world conditions to help elderly drivers self-evaluate their abilities. Authorities may offer counselling or encourage voluntary licence surrender for those with diminished skills. The broader plan includes child safety measures, pedestrian priority roads, and standards for preventing pedal misoperation.
