$1.15bn Valuation for Simpler Flying
⊲ Flying Magazine ⊳ California-based aviation automation startup Skyryse has raised more than $300 million in Series C funding, valuing the company at $1.15 billion as it moves toward certification of its flight control system. The funding will support FAA approval and deployment of SkyOS across more aircraft, including U.S. military Black Hawk helicopters. Skyryse has integrated the system on multiple airframes, completed over 10,000 hours of simulation, and flown 2,800 hours with pilots using SkyOS. Installation replaces traditional cockpit hardware with digital displays and a fly-by-wire system.
