1936 Golf Simulator

What’s The Jam ⊳ A 1936 “Spotlight Golf Machine” is expected to fetch £4,000 at auction. This early golf simulator combines arcade-style gameplay with mechanical features from the interwar era. Just like the top-of-the-range modern simulators, golfers would hit a real ball attached to a piece of string against a wire screen. The machine features a wooden cabinet and a scroll displaying British golf courses, simulating ball flight and distance.  It’s considered rare, with very few surviving examples.
