Royal Navy Invests in Multi-Domain Simulation

⊲ Royal Navy ⊳ The Royal Navy has awarded QinetiQ a £25 million, five-year contract to deliver training through the Maritime Command and Staff Trainer (MCAST). The system will simulate task force operations and hostile actions, enabling officers and sailors to practise multi-domain missions in realistic conditions. Inzpire, part of QinetiQ, will design scenarios and capture data for performance analysis, with training managed from Portsdown Technology Park. The project builds on the existing PETC system to enhance operational preparedness.
