XR and Robotics Converge
⊲ Hackster.io ⊳ Professional VR developer Ludic Worlds has developed a robot that utilises a Meta Quest 3 headset as its central processing unit, capitalising on the headset’s advanced sensors and processing capabilities. The robot’s body, constructed from LEGO bricks and powered by basic components, is controlled via an ESP32 board communicating with the headset over Wi-Fi. The robot responds to voice commands, using Whisper for transcription and Unity for location mapping, allowing it to autonomously navigate to designated points.
