Simulation Accelerates Swarming Experimentation
⊲ ADS Advance ⊳ Applied Intuition UK, part of the $15 billion Silicon Valley company founded in 2017, has been selected to lead a consortium focused on advancing autonomous swarming capabilities for defence. The programme is funded by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) Defence and Science Technology Laboratory (Dstl) Software Defined Swarms programme and will bring together industry and academic partners to develop scalable software and simulation tools that enable coordinated behaviour across multiple uncrewed systems. The effort aims to accelerate experimentation, reduce integration risk and support future operational concepts. Iain Lamont MBE, Head of Applied Intuition UK, said ‘our leading simulation platform will enable the British Army to accelerate delivery of its ‘20-40-40′ priority’.
