Agentic AI Adversaries for Marine Training

⊲ Halldale ⊳ The U.S. Marine Corps has awarded Orlando-based XRT a $5.1 million contract to develop an AI-driven crew gunnery mission rehearsal prototype trainer for the Amphibious Combat Vehicle. Building on its existing driver training system, the new platform will use agentic AI to create adaptive opposing forces that react to crew decisions in real time. The project is intended to support collective training, mission rehearsal and small-unit coordination in contested battlefield scenarios.
