Simulation Accelerates Real World Robotics

⊲ The Hindu BusinessLine ⊳ At Computex 2026 in Taipei, technology leaders described how simulation and digital twin tools are speeding up robot deployment. Nvidia’s Deepu Tala said simulated testing now allows thousands of experiments to run safely and cheaply, narrowing the gap between virtual training and real performance. ABB’s Craig McDonnell noted that robot movements can be replicated virtually with up to 99 per cent accuracy before reaching factory floors. Qualcomm’s Nakul Duggal added that physical AI systems will increasingly need local, edge based processing to support privacy and faster decision making.
