Denmark Funds Advanced Ghana Navy Simulator

⊲ Halldale ⊳ The Ghana Navy commissioned on 27 January 2025 the LILL-May Didriksen Simulation Centre at the Naval Training Command (NAVTRAC) in Nutekpor. Funded by Denmark, the facility includes a 270-degree Full Mission Bridge Simulator, three 120-degree Part-Task Simulators, two Instructor Stations, and briefing and debriefing rooms. Officials from both nations highlighted the strategic partnership’s impact on regional security and capacity building, reinforcing efforts against piracy and maritime crime in the Gulf of Guinea.
