Holographic Smart Glasses Funding Boost

⊲ TNW ⊳ Belgian startup Swave is developing true holographic smart glasses, claiming a breakthrough in Holographic eXtended Reality (HXR). Their lightweight glasses, using nanoscale pixels and phase-change materials, promise 3D images visible from all angles with improved visual comfort and efficiency. Recently securing €27 million in Series A funding, Swave is set to launch product kits and is also working on vehicle heads-up displays and spatial light modulators, aiming for applications beyond current augmented reality capabilities.
