A Timely Event for Military Simulation & Training

⊲ Halldale ⊳ DSET 2026 opens at Cheltenham Racecourse on 23 June as European NATO defence spending reaches historic levels, raising urgent questions about how much reaches training and simulation. With drones now operationally decisive since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the event addresses operator training at scale, including live drone demonstrations. Drawing 2,000-plus attendees from 44 countries, 70% military, the programme covers AI, uncrewed systems and cross-alliance simulation standards, with senior NATO and allied commanders among the keynote speakers, including two 3 stars and two 2 stars.
