Drone Operations and Training Converge

⊲ Breaking Defense ⊳ US drone manufacturer PDW has introduced PDW CORE, a mission software platform for its C100 quadcopter drone currently deployed with the U.S. Army. A key feature is PDW SIM, which allows operators to train using the same controller as the drone, simulating real-world conditions like weather and electronic warfare. This software allows operators to conduct diverse missions, including ISR and electronic warfare, using a single system. PDW SIM can not only reduce training time so users can learn how to fly a drone, it can also be used to rehearse missions before they occur.
