AR and Touchscreen Cockpit Transformation

⊲ Halldale ⊳ Leonardo has revealed a redesigned cockpit for its M-346 Block 20 trainer/light fighter aircraft, shown during Military Flight Training 2025. Central to the update is a large 20×8 inch touchscreen display replacing six older units, alongside a digital video/data recorder and a new AR-enabled helmet. With twin displays per seat and new avionics, the upgrade focuses on greater situational awareness and low workload for multi-domain training, with a prototype expected by 2027 and production by 2028.
