Kopin to Set XR Display Standards

⊲ Nasdaq ⊳ Kopin Corporation has secured a US Army contract for the Soldier Display Trade Study aimed at identifying the ideal MicroLED specifications for Extended Reality (XR) heads-up displays (HUDs), intended for military use. This project aims to improve XR capabilities for warfighters by setting precise specifications for MicroLED efficiency, brightness, colour fidelity, and lifetime, paving the way for future procurement and deployment of advanced head-mounted displays. The initiative highlights the military’s commitment to enabling superior visual tools for soldiers in demanding environments.
