Tablet-Based VR Cycling Trainer
BBC News | Students at The Bourne Academy in Bournemouth are using VR to learn road cycling. The VR technology, provided on tablets, offers 360-degree views to simulate road-based cycling scenarios. Developed by The Bikeability Trust, this program aims to train 1,000 students by March 2024. The initiative supports BCP Council’s goal to increase sustainable travel by 2030.
