Beyond IVAS – Anduril Fuse XR and AI

UploadVR ⊳ Anduril has unveiled its EagleEye military XR headset, designed to enhance soldiers’ situational awareness and replaces Microsoft’s IVAS program. With both optical and digital HUDs, it overlays battlefield data in real time, offering blue force tracking and line-of-sight–independent threat detection (YouTube). It enables mission rehearsal and UAS/drone control, integrates spatial audio and RF detection, supports operations in communication-denied settings, and turns the soldier “into a connected, AI-supported node within the Lattice ecosystem” Anduril claim. The US Army has awarded Anduril $159 million to develop prototypes for testing, with scaled deliveries expected by 2027. “We don’t want to give service members a new tool – we’re giving them a new teammate,” said Anduril’s Palmer Luckey.
