Ukraine Gets Mobile F-16 Simulators
⊲ Kyiv Post ⊳ Ukraine’s Air Force has received mobile F-16 flight simulators programmed to replicate the terrain and weather conditions pilots face in combat. Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said the simulators can be repositioned across different bases, supporting the Air Force’s dispersed operating model. The equipment, donated by the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Austria and several coalition partners, forms part of a broader programme to bring Ukrainian pilot training to NATO standards. Ukraine operates an estimated 35 to 40 F-16s, used primarily to intercept Russian cruise missiles and defend critical infrastructure.
